The Editorial Committee of the International Plato Society has chosen the winner of the 4th Edition of Conrado Eggers Lan Prize.
The IPS received 11 submissions of dissertations that had resulted in the award of the Ph.D. degree between July 31, 2021, and July 31, 2024.
We are pleased to announce that the winner of the prize is Lea Aurelia Schroeder: Perception and Perceptual Judgment in Plato’s Theaetetus and Timaeus, a PhD Dissertation completed in 2022 at the Yale University under the supervision of Verity Harte.
The Editorial Committee would also like to recognise the excellence of the dissertation written by Jiseob Yoon: The Role of Law in Plato’s Cities completed in 2024 at the Princeton University under the supervision of Melissa Lane.
